Escrow account

This account is designed for various types of financial transactions (e.g. purchase of a house or an apartment, purchase of valuables, etc.) where the seller and the buyer conclude a contract with the bank and the bank guarantees due settlement of the purchase price (or of a part of the purchase price). The bank holds the money on the account until all the requirements specified in the contract are met, and only then the bank pays the recipient.

Requirements for account opening

• Identity cards of both contracting parties  
• Original or certified copy of the trading certificate, or a certificate of incorporation in the Comercial Register or in another register.
• Other documents required by the type of the business transaction (e.g. a contract between the two contracting parties with certified signatures, or an abstract from the real estate registry).
